Nickita was my first husky. I got her from a breeder near Denver when I lived in Colorado.

Here is Nickita (on the left) with her partner Katarina in the back yard of my old mobile home in Federal Heights, Colorado. They spent a lot of time playing in the snow there. This was back around the early 1990s and I had many adventures with these two dogs. There were sled pull competitions and 4 wheel drive trips to the mountains. They even spent time hanging out at what was then Panadero Ski resort in Cuchara, Colorado. The skiers there gave them a lot of attention and fed them hamburgers and pizza from the grille in the ski village. I had these dogs for many years and they made the trip to Texas with me. They are now buried at the Pet Rest Cemetery in Sachse, Texas.
